I found this website and my husband decided to leave his smaller company and go back to one of the bigger ones listed here a few times (no names
mentioned). This is because of the new found support. Thanks a lot!
hi i found your website this pass weekend and find it very comforting. my husband works for Patterson UTI in Pennsylvania. i even purchased a couple of items. this is a good thing you all are doing. thank you for
supporting our husbands and us here at home.
I found your website on Facebook, thru Oilfield Wives! I absolutely love it & look forward to becoming a part of supporting our oilfield industry workers. My husband has worked offshore for 15 years. He is beginning his 3rd year in Brazil 28/28. I am so proud of him for all he does to support our family!! I'm glad there are places for oilfield wives to go to get support. Thank you for what you do!!!
I have really enjoyed this site. I am new to the roughneck wife group, my husband has been at it for 4 months. I want to say that this website has been comforting and it is amazing to see all the support that is out there for these hard working men. Thank you.
I am so thankful I found a place where all the women understand what I'm going through! Thank you!
Today I stumbled upon your website rigwives.org. I have been married to a roughneck for 10 years and I love everything about the oilfield. I am always looking for ways to get in touch with other wives and families. My husband is currently working in the Bakken field in North Dakota and Eastern Montana, we live in Glendive MT and have been here almost 2 years. We have lived all over the country chasing rigs for the past 10 years. I would love to be able to put your organizations name out there for other women in our situation to be able to communicate with each other, and I Love that you have a non profit support fund to help those in need. I don't know to what extent your foundation is set up, I saw that you have an Android app and are working on an iPhone app. If you can give me any more information on your program and how to get on your list of supporting wives that would be awesome. Anything I can do to show my support for the oilfield workers I am up for. I have currently been working with another company in a different state to get their information out to the roughnecks in this part of the country, they send me things like hard hat stickers to hand out to people. I would like to promote your cause also. Let me know, I hope to hear back from you soon :)

Well hello, i am also a rig wife, my husband has been in the oilfield scene has was 18 years old and is now 30. He had an awesome job making amazing money when one day he got a phone call claiming that his rig was being shut down due to losing a contract, that's when everything came crashing down, i was 9 month pregnant n scared as all hell! We had built ourselves so far up for it to all come crashing down by one phone call. Yes he has unemployment but that doesn't come close to keeping food on the table.. Ever since that day, we had to move due to not being able to afford rent, having to sell my car and cut back on pretty much EVERYTHING!! He puts application after application in but every drilling company is slow.. anyways i love this app and site because I know I'm not alone being a rig wife.. keep up the awesome work :)
The site impacted me form the standpoint, that now I have found a group of women who are entitled to respect. I hope you guys continue your good work.
_I will have to say i love my roughneck and I am excited to meet new people and we can all help each other out!!
This site is a huge blessing! I've found more support from the ladies that I ever thought I would. You become part of a family :)
Just stopped by to give the site a look over. I think its great. As Oil Field Trash we men greatly appreciate a good woman. There are some that cant handle the challenges of not having the man around. I have found that out the hard way, but I know it takes a strong willed woman and a loving one to handle the stresses of dealing with oilfield hands. God Bless all the families of my brothers and sisters in the oilfields around the world. May God speed each and everyone back to the arms of their loved ones.
I love this site. Its nice to know I'm not alone in this with my love. My boyfriend works for Patterson UTI in Texas.Even though I know the routine sometimes its still hard like when we first started out, but knowing
there are other ladies who can relate is nice and comforting. You all are in my thought and prayers along with your families, children and husbands, fiances, and boyfriends.
Hey Tanya, this is a wonderful website you put together. Thank you for making a place where we can lean on one another, I don't know how I could make it without my oil field sisters. They have encouraged me, comforted me and helped me to know that I am not alone and I am proud to be an oilfield wife. Thank you for developing this site, I will enjoy reading and seeing what you are sharing.

Hello All, I am also a rig wife. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 2 years and we have been in oilfield for the last 5 years. I love my roughneck and I wouldn't trade this life for the world. It is definitely a hard life to lead and it is nice to know that there are other women out there who go through what I do every other week or sometimes longer. Looking forward to meeting wives who understand how strong we really have to be...
if i need to vent, these are the ladies i go to. if i need opinions,i go to my rigwives. if i need a new dish to cook or a new book to read, guess what,i go to my rigwives for that too!! and i know if something major ever happens,i can go to these ladies.
thank you guys for being awesome.
Rigwife for life.
I found your site this past week. I enjoy being able to see Other wives of the oilfield. My husband is a company man And gone all the time. I don't know anybody that has been in This line of work. These men sacrifice a lot, to give the American People what they need. I am proud to be the wife of an oilfield
Man. My husband told me, when we got married, " it takes a Special kind of women, to stand beside an oilfield man". Thank you All for being that kind of women. because without the rig workers, my Husband wouldn't have a job. Thank you.
